He shifted up to 9605 kHz AM at 0543 UTC, he said he had a station on his freq.  I assume he was talking about the BC station on 9595 kHz.  Before he shifted the carrier dropped several times for a few seconds each, and after he shifted it did the same thing, I think he might have been dropping the signal to check for close stations.

(edit)  Off at 0621 UTC.  When he ended another station could be heard in USB on freq, with Doug and Bob MacKenzies "ka loo koo ko"  thing going on.

I think that was "The Great White North".
The band Rush also performed on that number if memory serves me correctly.
