I'm guessing Wolverine based on partial ID and the summer theme songs.

7/7/10
6950 USB
Since 0150z, hearing various summer theme songs - some version of "Cruel Summer" (presumed Bananarama but barely audible), Sly and the Family Stone "Hot Fun in the Summertime", Seals & Crofts "Summer Breeze", Mungo Jerry "In the Summertime", Janis Joplin (Gershwin's) "Summertime", Blue Cheer "Summertime Blues", Bryan Adams "Summer of '69", Don Henley "Boys of Summer", Joni Mitchell "Hissing of Summer Lawns"
0236z: Clear ID as Wolverine Radio w/ echo fx popped up outta the mud, followed by Scottie 1 SSTV, noisy due to local RFI but can copy Wolverine Radio logo.

So far have heard only partial ID with "radio", but can't tell if Wolverine Radio or WEAK Radio. I'm guessing Wolverine due to summer theme songs.

SINPO=22432, steady but weak signal fighting through heavy intermittent local RFI (never sure if local RFI should be "I"nterference or "N"oise...), very low QRN. Just good enough to copy familiar songs but not IDs.

Been copying him since 0204z ... his ID flies by so quickly that I only 'copy' it in retrospect ...

Did you by chance copy the slow-scan?

I believe after 0238z that it was a different station; signal strength here was nowhere near where is was before the slow-scan image came though ...
