Yes!

I was successful with a dipole, DX200 on a battery pack and a winter power outage cleaning up the local rubbish.

There was much noise from 21-24MHz that was near-summer levels, but in the middle if the night when it was so quiet elsewhere on the bands, I could hear 400Km distant LowFER's without much trouble.
