Vietnam War Era Military Radio on Statue

The 3 photos show one of two soldiers from the Battle of Hill 881 South near Khe Sanh, South Vietnam in the Spring of 1967.
What caught my attention was the detail of the radio carried by the Marine RTO.  Not sure what radio it is, resembles PRC-25.  I was just a hair young for Vietnam service, 18 in 1975.  Don't know if I ever saw a radio more clearly depicted on a statue, pays tribute to those Operators and equipment.  Statue is alongside side one honoring Korean veterans next to the Tobin Performing Arts Center, San Antonio, Texas.

The statue is also one of the most moving, I have ever seen.

Certainly looks like a PRC-25.   The PRC-77 looks the same, however I don't think it was out in the field yet in 1967.
