Not sure why I'm hearing any of this while the band is dead this time of night other than possibly E-layer aurora or meteor scatter. I'm ruling out meteor scatter because that's normally a blip. NOAA/Ovation showing a decent oval over Canada. MIGHT also explain WV reception? Its 0549 UTC now and I can still hear them talking to each other. WV was working some serious power and I couldn't hear anyone else on that freq. But on 20 I'm hearing what seems to be locals to Quebec talking to each other. I literally heard one of them telling someone out there where they were, which is why I know. Same with WV.

Hearing weak e skip on 10 and 11 meters in Middle Tennessee just after 1 am. I saw the dx map lit up for 6 meters and the FM broadcast band, so I went into the shack to listen myself. Yep, winter e skip. I probably missed the best part of it earlier in the evening, but as of now beacons from NY and VT on 10 are coming in. A few weak CBers on 11m are in, as well.

I did notice that I could hear hifer beacons around 13.565 Mhz that normally disappear during evening hours.
