All transmissions received in Denver, CO, USA using an SDRplay RSP2pro and a 1m diameter homebrewed magnetic loop antenna

broadcast errors: The 1600 transmission got off to a late start, which seems normal now. Spanish broadcast that sounded like news was transmitted for about 10 seconds at 1606, which I presume was RHC's Spanish service. HM01 finally got underway shortly thereafter.

broadcast error 021217: When I tuned back to 25m to find an unrelated broadcast, at 18:20 UTC, I found a strong open carrier signal at 11530 and nothing at 11635, its normal frequency for this time. The YL voice reading numbers came in at 18:25, about the time it would be expected. So it appears that HM01 did not sign off 11530 and sign on at 11635.

Broadcast error 2/14: They were reading 2/13's number sets at the start of the transmission, but correctly read today's numbers when at the point when they began sending the RDFT files.

On 2/27, there was no carrier until 1602. When it came on, it was silent for a while and cut out a couple of times. Broadcast began after half a minute, in the middle of a RDFT transmission for the 52511 number group. At 1604 the broadcast suddenly started over from the top, with the number groups being repeated as is normal for the start of an hourly or half-hourly broadcast.

HM01's February files can be viewed and downloaded here. All TXT files have been converted to PDF.

NOTE: Some of the RDFT files are sent in a format with .f1c or .f1g as the suffix. To the best of my knowledge, these files can only be opened on computers running Windows, but I'm not sure if that's a fact. I use Wordpad to open and view them. Because they seem to be some kind of secure file format, these files will not print, nor can you copy and paste all of the text into another document. I haven't played around to see if there aren't ways to accomplish that. Anyway, those files are in my Dropbox folder exactly as they were received, without conversion to PDF format.

UNUSUAL ERROR 02242017

At 1606, the transmission paused, in the manner that's more typical at 16 minutes after the hour. Over the next ten minutes, there were occasional brief broadcasts of interrupted numbers and data. Then at 1617, a new sounds was heard. It looked like DIGTRX RDFT on the waterfall, but sounded like one of the STANAG signals that are common on HF. It came and went intermittently for the next 8 minutes. The broadcast was normal once it resumed at 1627z.

EDIT 1754z: The transmission on 11530 cut off at about 1735, and after that the STANAG-style signal was broadcast three times, ending at 1738. There was nothing but an open carrier for the rest of the scheduled broadcast time.
