Title: Solid S-9 carrier on 6912am...?
Post by: ETM71 on January 21, 2012, 1549 UTC
6912kHz AM(?) @1550utc 1/21/2012 -- Is that some data mode tx or...? Don't think I've ever heard any px ops here before. Wishful thinking cuz I missed the cool Sat. morning stuff, eh? lol

Note: Turns out it was my surround system. Sorry lol. Not very interesting prog.

Switchmode power amp?

I'd get some ferrites on those gate/base leads of the power transistors if you have a carrier up that high... could be a parasitic oscillation.

Peace!

My radio has what sounds like that full AM carrier, spot on 6912.15kHz for weeks and I don't have a surround system. Bother.
