Pounding in here at 0123 UTC with an awesome S9 signal on 6150.5 ish KHZ with some kind of Jamaican childrens tune!
0125 UTC Andy Walker talk about last song and next tune (will be the last song)...Channel Z ID followed by song
0127 Andy with "Before They Were Famous" Part 3....Channel Z ID, Looney tunes clip, then silence. (Carrier still on!)
Tuned in late tonight....remarkable audio here! Thanks Z and thanks Andy!
0133 UTC  :) Back on with Part 4!!! Excellent signal makes for great listening!!!

Edit:Listened instead of posting details here last night, while reading old POP COMM articles and was surprised after 0233 UTC end of  Part 4 program when I heard that familiar Soviet Anthem and the voice of Dick Weed announcing a rare "remote broadcast"!!! I thought this was "Z" at first relaying RFW, but from the comments in the RFW posting it looks like PRB Relays doing the good deed as it was their frequency.

Strong here at 0048 UTC with a 60's sounding psychedelic tune.
0052 UTC Story by Dr. Benway about looking through night vision scope at the stars then converting to sound, waxing philosophic about hearing extraterrestrial sounds from Andromeda.
0057 UTC A bit of Astronomy Domine (that's pronounced dah min ee!)
0058 UTC ID and T-shirt offer followed by shoutouts to HFU posters...THANKS DR BENWAY!)
0119 UTC Off (Thanks for stopping by an entertaining us tonight Dr Benway! Looking forward to the interview in Radio World...should be some good reading!)

2344 UTC Signal peaking here at S5 with fades on 6900.4ish KHZ AM with 60's sounding hard rocking blues tune.
2347 UTC Bluesy Folk tune by man singer
2350 UTC 4 note IS repeated several times, followed by some kind of parody of "When the Saints Go Marcing In"
2353 UTC Strange folk song by man with guitar
2355 4 note IS repeated, followed by man with possible ID?
2356 UTC Off

EDIT: I listened back on the tape recording and just after the IS at 2355, there was a higher pitched voice with a 2 word statement, then a lower pitched voice with a word of two...can't make out what they said!

Awesome QSL for that special morning broadcast in the 49 meter band with PRB duking it out with the heavy hitter on 6150 from the land down under. And the winner is.... ??? Much appreciated Mr. Loudenboomer! Looking forward to a rematch!

QSLs Received / PRB RELAYS-"AMR-ALL MUSIC RADIO" Postal QSL
« on: April 30, 2014, 2318 UTC »
Received a nice suitable for framing QSL certificate in the mail today for my April 1, 2014 reception of AMR-All Music Radio on 6949 Khz. Similar in design to the one I received for the PRB relays-Radio Free Whatever QSL a little while back.
Many thanks to Mr R Pistek! ;D

Good morning RTP! Unfortunately I'm getting Radio Australia with an S9 signal here on 6150 KHZ//9580 KHZ at 1050 UTC. There is an audible but weak heterodyne. I don't know when they sign off. Reception conditions are good this morning too! RA is pretty much "dead on" 6150.
1103 UTC I'm getting some music underneath RA now and the het is stronger than before. I believe that as the absorption increases, RA will diminish and PBR will come through better....at least from my QTH!
Yes! I'm hearing you on 6149.6 ish KHZ at 1109 UTC with music almost at level with RA! I'm using LSB though. On AM, about equal with a loud het. I am not familiar with the tunes being played....don't have Shazam!
1121 UTC Song with electronic keyboard intro male vocal group with good signal...still using LSB. AM is a mess with RA and het!
1124 UTC Clear ID, "2014 Mix Tape Special" gave email and Belfast address for QSL
1136 UTC A kinda eerie sounding instrumental intro tune now. I'm getting some fading and splatter from RA, but LSB still fairly clear.
1144 UTC OP with ID, email, and Belfast address...2014 Mix Tape Special. Signal on AM is now at equal level with RA (but big Het!).
1148 UTC OFF? I still have a Het...maybe just open carrier?
1150 UTC Het gone, so I guess you signed off...thanks for the early Sunday morning program PBR! Now it's out to the backyard for some badly needed yard cleanup!

Fair to Good signal here since 0021 UTC tune-in with various pop songs, ID's by man at 0024 and 0027 UTC..."This is Radio Experience". 0034 UTC "Drivers Seat" followed by man announcer with ID and email address... experienceshortwave@gmail.com
Since then, "Under Pressure", "Don't Know Much About History", "Lola", "Broken Wings"
Signal is quite good here at times...excellent night for Euro's!
0141 UTC Shoutouts to listeners who emailed them in Ohio and New Jersey!!
Tunes by Fogerty and Peter Gabriel leading up to 0200 UTC. Quite listenable despite the snap crackle pop of the storm outside!
Off at 0223 UTC after email address and "Good Bye Everyone"
Thanks for the show from across the big pond!

I'm hearing some audio on about 6221 KHZ here just above the noise floor since 2302 UTC with man announcer at 2304 UTC. Best here in USB....No ID on songs until 2321 UTC with "My Sharona"-The Knack.
Since 2330 UTC some nice peaks during the songs played...."Easy Like Sunday Morning", "All Day and All of the Night"-Kinks, "Rocky Mountain Way"-Joe Walsh, "Cold Turkey"-John Lennon, "Blinded By the Light"-Manfred Mann, "What Becomes of the Broken Hearted". Man announcer with ID's that I can't make out, but I did hear mention of 6221 KHZ at 2352 and 2359 UTC.
{I thought they ID'd as Iceland Radio, but thanks for the proper ID from refmo!}

EDIT- Listened back on the cassette tape this morning and several clear ID's of "Island Radio on 6221 Kilohertz". Also ID'd some more tunes...amazing what you can do with a simple 7 band graphic equalizer...old technology works for me! SDR and Shazam are simply not in the budget for the foreseeable future...

Fair signal with fading on 6149.6 KHZ at 0004 UTC tune-in. Noisy, but fading well above the noise floor. RFW "RPM" ID at 0004 UTC into swingtime jazz tune. email address for QSL at 0007 UTC then more swingtime jazz. Look out "Z"! The Russians are coming.....
0014 UTC "RPM" ID....signal here is about S6 with nice clean audio...repeat of previous RPM program of big band jazz.
0020 UTC I'm getting that fan flutter QRM now....is this some kind of OTH radar or something? Same broadband interference when Channel Z was on recently.

11890
Just like the old days! Open the mailbox, and there is a reply from a broadcaster amidst the junk mail and bills. Thank you very much R.T.P, Senor Transmitter Engineer! Very pleased to get this one!

11891
Open carrier here since at least 0015 UTC, on suddenly with Tommy Dorsey with killer S9 signal here....slight hum on the frequency.
2336 UTC "Chairman of the Board Radio"...announcer gave titles of songs....including rare song by Frank Sinatra with Tommy Dorsey..."Chairman of the Board Radio....Good Bye". Off at 0037 UTC

11892
Ahhh, come back from my Easter dinner to hear "Little Drummer Boy"....do I have the right holiday here? Superb S9+10 here on 6924.6 ish KHZ at 2337 UTC tune-in.
2339 UTC Man announcer...."you get the image...all we have here...Easter Sunday...Jimmy Stewart...MAC Shortwave". Gave 2 email addresses
2340 UTC "Blue Hawaii"-Benny Goodman, then "In The Mood"-Teddy Wilson  2345 UTC (Jimmy Stewart)...ID'd tunes, TC, and "6925"..."MAC Shortwave"...James Stewart...(gave email addresses)
2349 UTC"I've Got You Under My Skin"-Hal Kemp
2353 UTC ?-Andrews Sisters
2355 UTC Jimmy Stewart ID last songs..."going to wrap it up... one or two more...6925...2357...Ozzie Nelson"
2357 UTC "Jersey Jive"-Ozzie Nelson
Off abruptly at top of the hour
{Thanks for the Easter show Jimmy Stewart and MAC Shortwave!}

11893
Got it here on 6913.3 ish kHZ with music at 2220 UTC. Fair signal with a slight het but above the noise. Unusual tune
2230 UTC Tough copy
2333 UTC Some kind of skit going on....two announcers I guess! Damned noisy band....
2237 UTC Signed off I think!

11894
I'm getting threshold audio here since 2029 UTC....sounds like man announcer, but I can't make out what he's saying. I have the frequency as 6925.4.
2035 UTC Song....hard to copy, but sounds like Ian Anderson's flute! Maybe Jethro Tull tune?
2039 UTC Man and Lady announcer I believe? Or is this some kind of skit?
2040 UTC Song
2050 UTC Man announcer but poor copy as the signal floats just above and below the noise floor. Followed by a song-Lady Singer
2110 UTC Signal getting better during the fade ins, but still can't ID the tune!
2115 UTC announcer chatting about something!
2123 UTC Man announcer with what sounded like ? Radio, into another song by lady singer
2128 UTC Nice peak during song with lady singer and flute
2134 UTC sounds like a CD is stuck, with the same thing repeated over and over by man...going on for several minutes! What is this and who are you?
2142 UTC Sounds like a jamming signal now....oh well. Stange indeed!
Thanks for the show anyway!
2146 UTC Ooops! Music is back now! Signal still battling the noise...
Headed outside for a bit and came back at 2205....gone!
