« on: November 28, 2021, 1708 UTC »
Discovered this while on the KFS Omi SDR. It has a roughly 30 second cycle: 27 seconds of silence and a 3 second dash.

Q5 copy in Colorado I have been listening to Q and H..time was 2350 utc..
The NUT sdr had both Q and H solid.
Got a land line today telling me that the old 4094 beacon was being experimented with regarding QRP
as an ID and the operator has now decided a single letter would be best. So Q it is..
The beacon can switched into a dash mode.
That about all I know .

I have not heard the 4100 kHz "H" Beacon in a a couple of months, but at 0230Z tonight, I'm hearing it nicely using the N. Utah omni SDR. It also comong through on KPH SDR.
On most SDRs at any time of the day or night I usually hear a carrier of some sort on 4100 - perhaps BCB interference. I'm guessing that H is usually in there, but covered up by the steady carrier.
