Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using an SDRPlay RSP1A with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet.

Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because my 7mhz dipole came down in a storm and after my stroke on June 3rd I can no longer get up on a ladder to fix it. williamhassig@yahoo.com

2359z - Carrier and faint music. SIO 332 trending 221. S4-S5 peaks with fades into the noise floor via Airspy HF+D and 148' loop-on-ground. Interference from an UTE and occasional peskies. Very rough copy here, but nonetheless, it is there.

0005z - Modulation fell into the noise floor on the LoG. Switched to the 31' vertical. That got the modulation back slightly above the noise floor, but it is still a difficult copy.

0008z - OM on the mic.

Thanks for the broadcast! :)

Signal is slowly coming up in T-Town,

Can hear big band music faintly, hopefully it will keep rising out of the qrm (0015)

Thanks for the Thursday night show!
