« on: April 01, 2009, 1018 UTC »
A few Dead Cat Radio logs from 3/29/09, all on 6925 USB.

2355 UTC (technically still 3/28/09): Missed most of DCR show but turned on radio just in time to catch closing ID at 2355 UTC: Meow, tires screeching, car crash, Dead Cat Radio ID with gmail address.

0249-0304 UTC: Various Jimmy Buffett songs, Living and Dying in 3/4 Time, Changes in Latitude Changes in Catitude, The Weather is Here I Wish You Were Beautiful, others.
0305z: Felix the Cat theme song.
0315z: Smart Wimmins in Real Short Skirt
0327z: Stray Cats "Stray Cat Strut"
0329z: "I've got balls of steel" audio clip
0329z: Mojo Nixon pirate radio song
0332z: "You've been listening to Dead Cat Radio" female voice ID, followed by a fellow saying "One more for L Cee". Sounded live into the mic.
5 minute mp3 w/ shout-out to L Cee at 2:30 mark: http://www.mediafire.com/?4mgylwlmynm
0337z: Off after dedication to L Cee (didn't recognize song).
SINPO - 21332, fairly steady low signal, wiped out for 15 seconds every minute by cycling parking lot light RFI, but good otherwise.
(Gopher Stomp, TX - R30C on the rather dry fugloop)
Approx. 35 min mp3 for most of show: http://www.mediafire.com/?vjntmj1nidf

0536 UTC: Just tuned in to 6925 USB, hearing Cyndi Lauper "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"
0541z: Cat yowling. This must be DCR.
0542z: Natalie Merchant
0546z: Fleetwood Mac "Never Going Back Again"
0548z: "House on Pooh Corner" Nitty Gritty Dirt Band version.
0550z: Elmer Fudd singing "Kill da wabbit!" to tune of Ride of the Valkyries. This has gotta be DCR.
0551z: "House on Pooh Corner" Loggins & Messina version.
0555z: "City of New Orleans", not Arlo Guthrie version.
0558z: "You've been listening to Dead Cat Radio" female voice ID. Male announcer voice with e-mail address partially obscured by static burst.
0600z: Parrothedz music.
0606z: Don't recognize song, sounds like John Hiatt.
0608z: Sounds like Warren Zevon, signal's faded a bit here.
0621z: "Always Something There to Remind Me" (Naked Eyes?)
0627z: DCR off or faded, not sure. Still something audible but not enough to ID.
SINPO - 21322, fair signal, intermittent static bursts for 15 seconds every minute.
