Hi Glenn - Yes, the pirate station on 6200 AM has indeed recently changed the programming to an all English
and Japanese format. Am no longer hearing any Russian, so it would seem Radio Channel Eastern Star/Radio
Vostochnaya Zvezda is no longer active. Heard now with many of the same spots being frequently repeated;
some in English and others in Japanese, as well as songs in Japanese.

The new, regularly heard spot - "with today's story" about McDonald's -
https://app.box.com/s/1s93vpkh7mdd6zmc5rgojinoluhscr77 .

Frequently now with the new ID: "You are listening to Hikair FM, the shortwave radio pirate station . . .
broadcasting from Mexico. Light FM, shining a light on . . . broadcasting worldwide in English and Japanese.
Hikair FM broadcast. Thank you for listening."
My audio from Aug 19 - https://app.box.com/s/sbb73yo5vfjkj7a9vmp0uhidytarpmd1 .

Song in Japanese, coming through heavy summertime QRN (static) -

- - - Thanks very much for the following informative reply to my Hikari FM (6200 AM) reception report of Aug 19.
Please note I was wrong, this pirate station still does have some Russian! Ron

"Thank you very much for your support!!
As of this email I have spent a little more time working on the audio.
Please note that some songs have the old Vostochnaya Zvezda ID still attached to them (they are part of the same audio file).
You will still hear some Russian, after all Russian was my first language.
13.95 still not up yet, lack of money, cannot afford the copper wire needed in the construction of the yagi while the frame is just sitting there.
Also cannot afford to buy the improved version of the TX PCB I designed lol. I have to first put the modulator on a PCB rather than it being a
mess of wires like it is now. Yet it still sounds very good, almost like FM.
Here is an eQSL [copy at - https://app.box.com/s/840fokvf0foh4oll221ekynr0vx4ku3s ], my Japanese is not that great yet.
When the summer time lightning crashing stops I plan to go on air and announce all the eQSLs I have sent as well as do an SSTV session.
Best Regards."
