At the time the guys were chatting away on 25.575 MHz AM, there were numerous other signals from Europe and the Americas coming in on the 25-30 MHz band. 26.225 MHz FM was active, likely with business users land mobile users using export radios,
Back on 23 March 2024, I heard similar traffic on 26.125 MHz AM, possibly also a fishing fleet or other freeband users. They seem to like the high 25 MHz band and lower part of 26 MHz, but are all over the place, including in the little sliver of spectrum between 29.7 MHz and 30.000 MHz. Yep, there are land mobile and marine users of those frequencies, not just the 29.710 MHz FM, 29.730 MHz FM, 29.750 MHz FM, 29.770 MHz FM and 29.790 MHz FM FCC Part 90 Business Radio Service frequencies either. There are taxi cab radio systems on 29.855 MHz FM, 29.905 MHz FM, 29.915 MHz FM, 29.945 MHz FM, 29.965 MHz FM out of Russia, no doubt others are there too. They're all over 10 meters too.
