Art Bell (Somewhere in Time) is talking about Pirate Radio
« on: September 08, 2024, 0302 UTC »
Airing right now (0300 utc): Art Bell (Somewhere in Time). Airing this past hour and continuing next hour with more pirate radio talk on affiliate stations, including 1130 KTLK (Minneapolis/St.Paul). I believe they said it was from Sept./10/2001.

Nice! I missed the first 15 or so minutes of the show, I only caught onto what they were talking about after it floated up while DXing AM.

I'll have to check out the Pat Murphy show.

Thanks.

I need to find where I saved that audio archive of all his Midnight in the Desert programs during his premiere on shortwave WTWW almost 10 years ago. Shortwave is true Coast To Coast, one AM transmitter and full continental coverage. No affiliate relay BS and annoying MW commercials.

Well, here's the very 1st Test-Broadcast that Art did with WBCQ. Um... I may have had something to do with Keith Roland talking to Allan. (Hi-hi...) https://archive.org/details/art-bell-midnight-in-the-desert-rec-test-boadcast-via-wbcq-7490k-hz-off-air-7-19-2015-edited
