NY Met songs 6925 AM 1824 UTC 18 OCT 2024
« on: October 18, 2024, 1824 UTC »
Fair reception, Noisy

1824 I believe "Meet The Mets" theme on organ by Jane Jarvis (Ha, ha, ha.....I grew up 3 miles from Shea)
1825 "Meet The Mets" YL singer version, off mid-song (The Mets better be knocking those home runs over the wall today  :o)
1827 Back with "Meet The Mets"
1829 OM and kid talking, faint
Request? "Here Come The Yankees"  8)
1831 Unid song, OM singer - right at noise floor
1833 "Talkin' Baseball'' Mets version
So, my first baseball game as a seven year old was Father's Day '64 in 2 month old Shea - double header - Bunning throws his perfect game versus the Metropolitans in game 1.
1836 Sounds like "Kiner' s Korner" intro of "Meet The Mets" (MTM)
1838 OM chorus of "MTM"
1840 Sounds like live Shea Stadium organ version of "MTM", probably Jane Jarvis
1842 YL singer version of "MTM"
1844 "Let's Go Mets Go" 1986 song
What  about "OMG!" from this year
1848 "Talkin' Baseball" Mets version.......I get it, this is a loop on 6925 until Mets win Series 🤣
Is this Steve Somers with a new radio gig?  ;)
1851 "MTM" instrumental  (T-minus 2:17 until first pitch)
1853 Chorus version of "MTM"
1855 Off (Edit note:  This broadcast was brought to you by Rheingold Extra Dry Lager Beer). Thanks for timely and hopeful broadcast.  ;D
