Radio World interview of Bill Defelice, “Wannabes” Should Consider Part 15?

You may have heard Bill on an early podcast of Radio Survivor. I had saw that, we was just talking about it at part15.org-- What struck me most about the article is where he said:

"The site has the distinction of having published “The AM Transmitter Challenge,” ..... A new version of that challenge is planned for 2025 once several upcoming Part 15 broadcasting products have been released to the public.

What are the "several upcoming Part 15 broadcasting products" about ti be released to the public is he referring too???

My guess is an updated version of this:   https://www.hobbybroadcaster.net/reviews/am-transmitter-challenge.php  It's an interesting read, since no one else seems to be doing the transmitter comparison results like Bill did. He plans to do a 2025 version of that again? Good!!!!

As I said over in the other forum, I am quite keen to see what these could be. A new transmitter perhaps? An AMT3000 replacement, or perhaps even a Rangemaster/Procaster alternative? A transmitter would be my keenest wish, but I guess we will need to wait and see.

In the meantime, I'm sitting at the bench here, very gradually working on a scratch-built AMT3000 because I was silly enough to sell mine without realizing that one day, they would be hard to come by.

Maybe.. Would like to think so, but it could be absolutely nothing. Maybe that's not what he meant at all - but it it sure sounds like he's alluding to something specific. Let's hope so, and it's worth the hype.
