SWL's Needed For Enforcement Help
« on: October 15, 2010, 0222 UTC »
EI4GXB is looking for anyone and everyone with a radio that can tune to 28.265.00FM and 28.032.00Khz
Churches have been heard all over Europe intruding on these frequencies with their wireless systems.

See this link: http://www.arnewsline.org/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=18&Itemid

You'll have to scroll down to see the details under the Enforcement category.

This is my opinion, and my opinion alone.

I have absolutely no interest in narcing on broadcasters who do not adhere to regulations regarding where, when, and how, people can use the airwaves. The situation that you describe does not threaten public safety, and the hams can get over it if they have to hear a few CBers or church services. Count me out.

Not at all interested in reporting these sigs.  But, interested in including them in daily scans for a chance to catch one or more.

Europe has their own radio cops.  I, for one, am not interested in being a radio cop.  Curses to the hams that think they are radio cops too.

Am too busy reporting WYFR and the other bible-thumpers for overmodulation and/or overwide signals which interfere with the pirate channels!!

(God's gonna get them for that-- mark my words!!!)

CMRadio and group,

I thought you guys would get a laugh out of this, and that's why it was posted here. Besides the fact that I thought you would at least get a kick outta what you may hear if you come upon one of these sigs. On the other hand, why in the name of Isaac H. Newton would anyone want SWL's and hams to help out with this task? It just screams of being an inappropriate use of resources!

Who cares about CB?  Especially Churches transmitting on those frequencies.
Take your topic elsewhere.  SWL's aren't going to help you. lol
Thanks for the laughs.  ;D
