WFUQ is up on 6925 USB on 9/23/08 at 2325 UTC with DJ Jackhammer and a guest bantering back and forth. Very solid S9 signal here in Eastern Massachusetts.

6925 USB, 2300-0056 UTC: Live, and lively, show with lots of spontaneous and funny banter between DJ Jackhammer and DJ Phat C, and real time shout-outs to listeners logging on FRN.  Announced as contest show with musical theme appearing to be related to the 50 United States: Mountain "Mississippi Queen", Eagles "Hotel California", Neil Young "Ohio", etc.  Several songs less obvious, but all included at least one reference to a state name ("Man of Constant Sorrow" = Kentucky; "Mary Jane's Last Dance" = Indiana, etc.).  Besides the snappy banter between the hosts, WFUQ seems to have resolved the audio problems noted in earlier shows this summer.  Musical audio quality is good now, with levels equal to announcers' voices.  SINPO - 34243  (N. Central TX)
