No need to worry, I'm a first class yodeler. I picked it up from old Jimmy Rodgers 78's.

How much do they pay, tax free? I'll also need food, housing, and a top of the line Mercedes to tool around in. I'm top drawer talent, I don't come cheap.

Huh... It doesn't say what will be in place of broadcasting, unless I've missed something. Hmmmmmmm... Something for FM pirates to look forwards too?
Over the years I have to admit coming up with some no-so good ideas for products. The Skipping Cassette Decks, (In case you missed record skipping.), never took. Water Resistant Lollipops never caught on either, even though you could enjoy those in the rain and in the shower. Then, there's the Anatomically Correct Mrs. Butterworth Syrup Dispenser. (Just guess where the syrup came out of.) Nope, no takers.

I read it a few times to understand...

FM VHF is going away and they will be forced to DAB+. One can guess that DAB+ over there is in a different band.

Its not a well written article, which is commonplace today in the media.

So it appears that pirates will have a nice place to hang out, unofficially.

DAB over there runs in the ~175 MHz range, what we used to call VHF high or band III.

I guess a prerequisite is that you would have to know that DAB+ and FM are different ...somehow. (A different frequency, mode, etc.) However, given that this is Radioworld, which is aimed at those in the radio business, I suppose that it's not too much of a stretch to expect that.
Just somebody with a radio, a computer and a pair of headphones...

given that Radioworld, is a mouthpiece for the radio business, it crows about NAB lobbyists paying $62.8 Million for a new building to be "closer to Capitol Hill and also closer to (federal) agencies"!

Most times & frequencies posted are only an approximation.

My only rider in Europe is Salma Hayek. She's married to an old French bazillionaire who can't get it up with a crane.
