I'm using doublet antennas with tuned lines. Both were broken by recent gusts of wind,one is rebuilt now. A doublet is like a dipole, but with random length, as the whole of arms and line is tuned from my shack with an ATU.

More music, I lost trying to report it. 0023 C&W singer, signal slowly fading down now,
but still clear here.

0028 No gamma match ! All is in wire, including the open or twisted lines. Only a short length of coax, from the ATU to the RX. 
0032 music, good-strong again  :-)

0045 technical explanations, but the signal is fading to much now, often down to the noise level
My antenna system is for receiving  only ! Not sturdy enough, it would be risky to send watts into such a light system.
"Ne me quitte pas", but the waves are now leaving me, and I'm getting tired now.

That system would be useful for transmitting, but with heavier components, and stronger poles not weaving in the wind !
