Fair reception but quite noisy, Japanese service

1720 Unid music has been playing with OM in Japanese between songs
1727 Music continues, Gospel sounding tune with YL lead singer backed by choir
1742 "The Final Countdown" Better reception
1800 OM with news in Japanese
1809 Aria sounding piece

When I can get this particular NHK broadcast it's always fun because they feature music (almost always Western music) and it's interesting to see which subject is the focus. One time it was songs from Disney features. I used to get it pretty routinely when this was also on Yamata tx on 22m but they ended that a year or two ago. Faint copy today but more than I usually get from Issoudun.

They did an hour of Carpenters' music last April, don't think I ever heard a radio station do an hour of the Carpenters.
