Airport weather information (Volmet) for major airports in and around the New York City area. This can be found on the following [[HF_airband|frequencies]] and times. 3485 kHz, USB, broadcasts from 1 hour after sunset to 1 hour before sunrise. 6604 kHz, USB 24 hour broadcast 10051 kHz, USB 24 hour broadcast 13270 kHz, broadcasts from 1 hour before sunrise to 1 hour after sunset. The information is provided by a computerized male voice. New York Radio is also part of the [[MWARA|HF SSB aeronautical]] long-range air traffic control (ATC) service using SSB voice with [[FAA_Flight_Control/SELCALL|SELCALL]] on various HF frequencies.
