The '''[http://freeradiocafe.com/forum/ Free Radio Cafe]''' (FRC) is an internet message board launched in May 2011 by free radio operator John Poet of [[The Crystal Ship]]. Based on the popular [http://www.phpbb.com/ phpBB] platform, the FRC offers members the option to embed YouTube videos and directly upload images such as QSLs to posts. With an emphasis on pirate/free radio, the FRC also includes discussion forums for other radio related interests. In response to allegations of various abuses at the [[FRN]] (including sock puppetry, harassment of members and former members and disregard for the privacy of registered members), which escalated in 2011, the owner of the FRC committed to a [http://freeradiocafe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3 written policy] prohibiting sock puppets and protecting the privacy of all members including pirate radio operators, licensed amateur radio operators and radio listeners alike.
