[[Image:RFWQSL.jpg|right|thumb|200px|Radio Free Whatever eQSL]]Radio Free Whatever is a North American shortwave pirate active since the 2000s. Broadcasts are hosted by DJ Dickweed and play new Indie Rock music. He usually produces a new show once a week which is most often aired on Saturday starting around 2200-2300 UTC. Broadcasts are mostly around 6955 in USB but broadcasts have been heard on other 43 meter band frequencies, tests on 73 meters (with antenna issues), and once on 1720 AM. RFW originally used AM only, had a period when both AM and USB were used, and currently uses USB only. Power is unknown but his signals are usually very strong in eastern North America. RFW did eQSL with the email dickweeddj@gmail.com but no longer QSLs.
