		+	Radio Miami International, the predecessor of WRMI, was founded in 1989 by Jeff White (the current general manager) and Kiko Espinosa and began broadcasting via airtime on other stations. Eventually, the station applied for an FCC license, and WRMI began broadcasting on June 14, 1994, near Miami, Florida. In December 2013, they purchased the WYFR transmission complex in Okeechobee, Florida, where they broadcast from today.
