Do any of you radio experts think that a regular walkie talkie from walmart would work as a transmitter with a longwire antenna? how many people do you think could pick me up? how far do think the radio waves will go? I have done this before and heard myself on the radio and broadcasted on 43 meters with it. I would broadcast at night and could hear myself on the radio very clearly and heard "tuning sounds" as if someone was picking me up! is that someone actully tuning in to the station? PLEASE RESPOND!!
