Maple Leaf Radio started transmitting in March, 2006. They usually broadcast on 6925 Khz Upper Side Band and transmissions are preceded by "Oh Canada" or some other patriotic music such as "The Maple Leaf Forever" or, the theme music from "Hockey Night in Canada".
