Jazz for the End of the World is a North American shortwave pirate logged once on March 14, 2023 and also heard by only one listener a month or two before that. The first broadcast was a program about COVID-19 and it is unclear if the same station ID was used. The March broadcast was a program of jazz music by Charles Mingus with occasional identifications between the songs and a sign off message and ID. The station was strong in Western North America (and was even heard in Alaska) but was only a weak carrier in Eastern North America. The frequency was 7305 kHz in AM mode with a very sharp audio cutoff at 5 kHz and good modulation. No contact information is known.
