Several stations have used this name. The original 6YCAT was The Voice of Smoke, run by
Captain Ganja. A later incarnation is The Voice of Jamaica, with announcer Kit Kat Marley , the son of Bobcat Marley and Josie (of Josie & the Pussycats), broadcasting from Catmandoobie. The station generally plays cat related songs. The station used the
Providence maildrop, which has since closed.
