POCSAG paging standard, official name Radio-paging code No. 1. Used worldwide. Found in the 26-28 MHz or 11 meter band CB radio 27MHz frequency range and the 29.7 MHz - 50 MHz VHF low band in numerous countries, as well as the higher VHF/UHF bands. See the HF paging systems page.

POCSAG sounds similar to narrow-deviation variants used for paging on the 25-30 MHz band and 30-50 MHz VHF low band, variants include CCIR multi-tone paging and others.
