Airport weather information (Volmet) for major airports in and around the New York City area. This can be found on the following frequencies and times.

3485 kHz, USB, broadcasts from 1 hour after sunset to 1 hour before sunrise.

6604 kHz, USB 24 hour broadcast

10051 kHz, USB 24 hour broadcast

13270 kHz, broadcasts from 1 hour before sunrise to 1 hour after sunset.

The information is provided by a computerized male voice.

New York Radio is also part of the HF SSB aeronautical long-range air traffic control (ATC) service using SSB voice with SELCALL on various HF frequencies. New York Radio is also available via long range VHF networks (for aircraft operating above 20,000 feet), primarily on 129.9 MHz.
