• the 5 channel license free 150 MHz band 151 MHz/154 MHz VHF allocation in the United States (MURS)
• the VHF LADD trucking radio service in Canada - think "Ice Road Truckers" - used in conjunction with regular old CB radio
• the Nordic hunting radio or Jaktradio services in Norway and Sweden (155 MHz and 31 MHz)
• the German 149 MHz band license free Freenet service
• the 43 MHz VHF low band "43 MHz CB" service in Italy
• the 142 MHz band VHF CB service in Indonesia
• the 78 MHz VHF service and 245 MHz VHF service in Thailand
• the RHA68 VHF mid band service in Finland
• the 69 MHz VHF mid band service in Sweden
