Andrew Yoder is a long time pirate DXer, whose contributions appeared regularly in the ACE. He has authored a number of books about pirate radio, as a search on Amazon will show, and he also produced the short-lived magazine Hobby Broadcasting, devoted to free radio. He has been less visible in the hobby in the last decade, but still appears on the FRN and at Winterfest from time to time. In the early 1990's, Yoder got The Knock and was busted for operating a famous station, Radio USA.

In 2010 Yoder updated the Pirate Radio Annual which included audio clips on CD.
