DB Cooper Radio is a North American shortwave pirate. It only broadcasts on or near 24 November, the day of the DB Cooper hijacking. It was first logged on the HFU in 2018 and has broadcast once per year since, except 2021 when two broadcasts were made on the same day from the station. Broadcasts feature all DB Cooper related news recordings from around the time of the hijacking, music written about DB Cooper, and SSTV images of his wanted poster. It has been heard around 6935 kHz and 6950 kHz in AM mode, both on offset frequencies (e.g. 6950.63 kHz). The origin of the name is unclear since the station never identifies on air. No contact information is known.
