An Internet Receiver is a radio receiver that is connected to the Internet. Remote users can connect via the Web, and the audio from the receiver is streamed back to the user. There is usually a Web-based interface that allows various adjustments to be made to the receiver, such as changing the frequency, mode, and other properties. Some of these receivers are free to all, others require membership, and possibly a fee. Various bands may be available, including HF, UHF, and VHF.
