KSMR - Kentucky State Militia Radio was a quasi-clandestine radio station operated by "Colonel" Steve Anderson in the 2000-2001 time period. KSMR operated on or near frequencies in use by the licensed shortwave broadcast WWRB, then known as WWFV and/or WGTG, e.g. 3260 KHz. Following several high profile reports on the station and threats of action from the FCC, the real Kentucky State Militia ordered KSMR off the air. Anderson shortly thereafter appeared using apparently the same transmiting equipment but IDing as United Patriot Radio.
