Maple Leaf Radio started transmitting in March, 2006. They usually broadcast on 6925 Khz Upper Side Band and transmissions are preceded by "Oh Canada" or some other patriotic music such as "The Maple Leaf Forever" or, the theme music from "Hockey Night in Canada".

Programs tend to run 10-20 minutes in length and consist of music (obscure to popular) and station ID announcements. Maple Leaf Radio tends to be more active during fall and winter months.
