Radio Havana Cuba is the international broadcasting station of Cuba. It is widely heard in North America and other continents. It's broadcasts are often distorted or suffer from other audio quality issues. It is believed that the reason for this is old soviet made transmitters that are in need of replacement or repair. Programming in English is largely focused on programs that adversely reflect on the USA. Most programming not in English is in Spanish although a few other languages are also broadcast. Most musical programming is in Spanish. A schedule showing languages and frequencies can be found in the British DX club article "The Americas on Shortwave" (see links). RHC does not register with the HFCC so schedules are what is heard by listeners and are very inconsistent. RHC will confirm reception reports sent to radiohc@enet.cu with a QSL card, although delays of months are frequent.
