A slob net refers to two or more distinct parties talking to each other on or near a popular pirate frequency. Slob nets are not regularly scheduled; rather, they occur spontaneously, usually in response to a pirate radio station requesting comments on a show. Other pirates, or perhaps listeners equipped with transmitters but who do not ordinarily broadcast, will then give comments. It can be a very simple exchange; although some slob nets have been known to last longer.

Current pirates that have been known to engage in slob nets include Undercover Radio and Take It Easy Radio.
