In the early 2000's, proper tire pressure became an increasingly important part of pirate radio. New listeners might at first not understand the (seeming) obsession with tire pressure. Tire pressure alerts are frequently broadcast by a number of different stations, as a public service to the listening community.

While most of us do not have difficulty with this rather mundane task, some individuals, such as Al Fansome, often need a more forceful reminder about proper tire inflation.
