Birinchi Radio

Birinchi Radio is the first program of The Public Broadcasting Corporation of the Kyrgyz Republic. It operates on 4010v kHz on shortwave (exact frequency is 4010.22 kHz as of August 2022). Despite a power of 100 kW it remains a difficult station to hear because modulation is always very low. It mainly broadcasts news, information and sports but music is broadcast for a short time. All broadcasts are intended for listeners in Kyrgyzstan. QSL cards are very rare and can usually only be obtained by bringing your reception report to the station in person. Website is ktrk.kg
