KPF-941 was a legal remote located in Yonkers, New York, and was licensed to WOZI and WOZW. KPF-941 broadcasted with 100 watts on 1622 KHz during the fall of 1984, until it was closed down by the FCC. Allan Weiner and J. P. Ferraro claimed that the station was operating legally under FCC rules, but the Commission felt differently. The result of the KPF-941 case led to the revocation of all of the broadcasting licenses that Weiner held at that time.
