KPRC - Pirate Radio Central was a pirate station active from 1982 to 1984, broadcasting on 1616 AM, FM, and shortwave. The station's main announcer was Pirate Joe. KPRC was apparently operated by Allan Weiner from the facilities of licensed station WOZI/WOZW. KPRC ceased operations after the FCC tracked down the source of the broadcasts.
