Oldies Radio is a Brazilian shortwave pirate from Pedro Velho state. It has so far only been heard heard once, on January 11 2023. The signal was on 21485v kHz but suffering from terrible modulation at first. The signal then went off air and when it returned it what was recognizable as AM but still badly drifting. Audio was difficult to hear due to a weak signal on the PY2N and PY2-81502 KiwiSDRs in Brazil but it sounded like people speaking in Portuguese. The identification is based on the operator using the name “oldiesRadio” while checking the signal on both of those receivers. No other information about the station is known.
