WOW is a North American shortwave pirate. It is also referred to by listeners as the "Hawaiian Numbers Station". It has been active since at least November 2022, possibly earlier. Broadcasts are usually around 6950 USB and feature only numbers in Hawaiian read by a male voice with no identifications. On November 20, 2022 WOW was heard on both 6925 and 6940 kHz in AM mode playing music and giving its identification as WOW immediately after the Hawaiian Numbers in USB ceased. He claimed not to know what the numbers were, but his voice was the same as the one that reads the numbers. Some HFU members received eQSL's from wowradio@proton.me
