LAD, also known as Voice of the Night, was a shortwave pirate active in the early 90s. He was apparently a teenager at the time. He became infamous for jamming other pirates, broadcasting material insulting to pirates and DXers, and making a general pest of himself on the air and at pirate radio gatherings. Eventually the FCC caught up with him, and he was busted.
