A Slimatron in action. Here, filament voltage is applied to a specially modified 833A causing the Slimatron liquid to boil into the Maxwell House can. Turning off the filament voltage reverses the process. Each cycle of the process further refines the liquid. (Source: amwindow.org, 1998).
