351 MHz UHF Digital Personal Radio Service - Japan. Registered station “standard waves” (channels, frequencies).
351.025 MHz - 351.6375 MHz One of numerous UHF band personal radio services available in Japan. Similar in function to FRS in the United States, Canada, etc. Uses the low-UHF 300 MHz band like the 325 MHz Short Range Radio Service in the Philippines, the 350 MHz Short Range Radio in India and the 300 MHz - 344 MHz "River Cruise" radio service in Russia and the former Soviet Union.
82 channels at 6.25 kHz spacing, plus 15 receive only channels.
351.03125 MHz - 351.10000 MHz transmit and receive 351.10625 MHz - 351.19375 MHz receive only “sky channel” 351.20000 MHz - 351.63125 MHz transmit and receive

Selective calling (user to user calling, group calling, etc. using UC user codes 000 to 511 (512 unique user codes). Encryption capability included with 32,767 unique “codes” encryption keys. Handheld and vehicle mounted (mobile in-vehicle) radios available on the Japanese market.
