351 MHz UHF Digital Personal Radio Service - Japan. Registered station “standard waves” (channels, frequencies).

351.025 MHz - 351.6375 MHz One of numerous UHF band personal radio services available in Japan. Similar in function to FRS in the United States, Canada, etc. Uses the low-UHF 300 MHz band like the 325 MHz Short Range Radio Service in the Philippines and 350 MHz Short Range Radio in India.

82 channels at 6.25 kHz spacing, plus 15 receive only channels.

351.03125 MHz - 351.10000 MHz transmit and receive 351.10625 MHz - 351.19375 MHz receive only “sky channel” 351.20000 MHz - 351.63125 MHz transmit and receive

351.025 MHz - 351.6375 MHz. Like other personal radio services in Japan, all radios must be registered and transmit a unique radio ID number via a built-in ROM. Automatic digital callsign identification. 6.25 kHz channels, narrow band, similar to DPMR446.

Selective calling (user to user calling, group calling, etc. using UC user codes 000 to 511 (512 unique user codes). Encryption capability included with 32,767 unique “codes” encryption keys. Handheld and vehicle mounted (mobile in-vehicle) radios available on the Japanese market.
