Similar to FRS, GMRS and PMR446, UHF CB Personal Radio Service and several other UHF and VHF services. 25 channels, narrow FM voice 11K0F3E, 0.5 watt 500mw transmit power limit. 448.7375 MHz to 448.925 MHz and 449.1375 MHz to 449.2625 MHz. South Korea only. Business, personal and family portable radios and walkie talkies are popular on these frequencies in the Republic of Korea (South Korea). Use of these frequencies outside Korea is not permitted, as they overlap with the 70cm ham radio band and other services in various countries.
